The Gardens 1st Anniversary Fashion ShowPosted by: ahkit in Events, Fashion Show, PortraitsYesterday after send my gf to LCCT@Sepang. Went to a popular spot for “PLANE SPOTTING” What Plane Spotting?? According to Sid Porter from http://www.planespotting.com/ “Plane spotting is a serious hobby which is distinguished from just plain watching. A true plane spotter is someone that are quite knowledgeable and often travel around the world just to spot new and exotic liveries or military markings. For them, spotting is a very serious hobby and it is essential to maintain meticulous records of aircraft seen. There are also the photographers, both amateur and professional, with their advanced cameras, giant lenses, tripods or even the occasional video camcorder” Taken from http://www.planespotting.com/ As for me I’m just a casual plane watching :). Its a fun thing to do. But you really need lots of patient to wait for the plane to land or take off. After sitting in my car for nearly 4hours I’m only manage to snap about 10 planes. Some have really unique marking / paint job on the plane, others just very normal looking. Meet with few veteran plane spotter from Malaysian Wings Forum. For them they are more interested not only the marking but the plane. They can tell out what plane model is that just by looking at the shape. Really respect them. These are some of the pictures i snap. Air Asia with ManU Players AirAsia Nico Rosberg’s Helmet Design The rest of the photos are HERE

Compact and dSLR category.. two of my colleague was taking part in the compact category while im in dSLR.. the dSLR line was pretty long. I think there is about 30 people in front of me. There is a funny incident happen on the compact category ‘q’. There this uncle wants take part and asked one of the organiser some question. Organiser asked the uncle… The first theme given by Canon at pitstop A is “Indulge Metropolitan”. but me and my colleague heard “IN LARGE METROPOLITAN” haahaa… summit wrong photos..heehee At Pitstop B (Pavillion KL ) the theme was “MESS IN RULES”. After getting the theme I was like . What the heck is that?? So summit another wrong photo for it Pitstop C (KLCC) the theme was “GOES GREEN”. This is easy.. but i choose recycle bin for submission. Think out of the box… but in the end.. After checking out other contestants photos mine was SUXX big time. I enjoy the entire duration during this event. I see lots of great photos and creative people along the way. I’m surely going to join again this event next year! Canon Goes Green

Grass Racing Autocross(GRA) 2008 Round 4Posted by: ahkit in Events, General Events, MotosportsRound 4 is finally over. The event was held last weekend at Shah Alam. Some might ask GRA what? Here goes… What GRA ? What Autocross? Autocrosses are usually held on parking lots or similar large paved areas (such as airfields) with the temporary course marked by traffic cones. Typically, new courses are created for each event so drivers must learn a new course each time they compete. Prior to driving the course, a competitor will walk the course, taking mental notes, and develop a strategy that will be refined on each subsequent attempt at driving it. Speeds generally are slower in absolute terms when compared to other forms of motorsport, rarely exceeding highway speeds, but the activity level (in driver inputs per second) can actually be higher than even Formula One due to the large number elements packed into such small courses. In ProSolo, an SCCA-sanctioned variant of autocross, two cars run side-by side on mirror-image courses after starting at a “christmas tree” starting system similar to that used in drag racing. Autocrosses typically have many classes which allow almost any vehicle prepared to almost any prep level to have a realistic expectation of doing well, subject to driver skill and experience level. Autocross places more emphasis on the skill of the driver than on the attributes of the car being driven. Autocrossing is a good way to get started in sports car road racing, as witnessed by the many SCCA national racing champions who started their careers in autocrossing, as well as being a top-level sport in its own right. Autocross is most common in the United States, but other countries have similar motorsports. For example, Motorkhana is popular in Australia and New Zealand, and autotesting is common in the UK and Ireland. Both motorkhana and autotesting are slower than autocross (motorkhana rarely exceeds 40 mph (60 km/h)), require handbraking, and have sections that must be negotiated in reverse. Autocross is faster, sometimes exceeding 60 mph (100 km/h), and never requires the driver to enter reverse. Handbraking is not necessary on typical autocross courses. SCCA Rallycross resembles autocross, but is held on unpaved surfaces such as grass and dirt.” - Taken from GRA Website GRA WEBSITE Anyway I didnt plan to go to this event. Last minute friend studio shooting was canceled so nothing to do , bag are packed just go and shoot some cars.. Here are some of the photos Gophers GPS Cars in Action
